Carrington Lawn & Landscape: Back to School Drive Supporting WayForward Resources
At Carrington Lawn & Landscape, we believe in being active participants in our community through our Carrington Cares initiative. This summer, we were thrilled to support WayForward Resources with our Back to School Drive, helping to ensure that children in our area have the supplies they need for a successful school year.
From July 12th to August 5th, we organized a variety of ways for our community to get involved. We hosted donation porch pickups, set up a donation drop-off at our office, and even accepted contributions via QR code for those who preferred a digital option. The response was incredible!

WayForward Resources works tirelessly to reduce harm and enact change by fulfilling immediate needs in food and housing, amplifying the voices of those with lived experiences, and advocating for racial equity in these areas.
Their vision is for a strong community where race-based barriers to opportunity no longer exist, and where everyone’s dignity is recognized. They strive to ensure that all individuals have the resources they need to reach their self-defined goals.

$788 in Monetary Donations: Collected from our wonderful clients and staff.
$1,500 Donation from Carrington Lawn & Landscape: We contributed to the cause to amplify the support.
Over $3,000 in Total Value: Including supplies and monetary contributions.
Approximately 570 Children Benefited from the WayForward Resources school supply drive. This initiative directly impacts our community, helping students start the school year prepared for success.
We are so excited to have played a role in this event and to have supported the children in our community. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this cause—your generosity makes a difference!
